PYREX Vision “MJ AS GOD” Poster
PYREX Vision Apparel is an interesting brand. Created by Kanye’s buddy Virgil Abloh, PYREX basically is some bold font and famous paintings printed on some Champion hoodies and Polo Rugby shirts. Although I really don’t like the fact that the items are extremely over priced and over hyped, I still like the BOLD fonts and lettering. I have a similar style with Diebolt Clothing as far as my wordmark and logo go.
Anyways, I made this poster just for fun. Practice. I like playing with fonts.
Big Sean “Hall Of Fame” Cover
Did this last night. Made some adjustments today. I feel like it’s missing something but I’m not sure what. I plan on doing album packaging concept for this tho, so be on the lookout for that!

Justin Bieber “You Want Me” Cover
I’m a little late doing this cover but whatever…it’s JB’s birthday and I was feeling artistic. Biebz put out this song a few weeks ago and I’ve been playing it ever since. Hopefully this sound reflects the direction he’s going with the next album.

Tyler The Creator “Domo 23″ & “Bimmer” Covers
Tyler The Creator released his new single this week titled “Domo 23″ this week along with the music video for the song(watch it below!). At the end of the video he added a snippet for a second new song titled “Bimmer”. Both songs offer a new sound for the Odd Future rapper and personally I enjoy these 2 songs alot more than any of his past offerings. Tyler’s 2nd album “Wolf” is coming soon.
On the “Domo 23″ cover I used a screenshot of Tyler from the music video. The font is positioned like the name and number on a jersey. For “Bimmer” I obviously featured a vintage BMW along with a similar font setup to the Domo 23 cover.

OFFICIAL: Duawn “Nobody’s Safe” Cover
Say hello to some DieboltDesigns client work. I’ve been talking to Duawn for a couple months now. He’s talented guy from right here in Charlotte, NC and he’s releasing his first mixtape soon! I have a good feeling that he’ll create some buzz around here in the future.
I was proud to create the cover for Duawn’s tape. As for the cover itself, I honestly have to say it’s one of my favorites that I’ve ever done. Obviously based on the name “Nobody’s Safe” you can infer that someones out to get everyone. That person who’s out to get you? Yeah, it’s Duawn. Who’s everyone? Any rapper you can possibly name. Doesn’t matter if they are a legend of the past or superstar of the present…there’s no reason to NOT aim for those who are at the top.
The cover’s background features a zombie baseball player holding a bat, while in the foreground are 3 “baseball cards” featuring the Past, Present and Future.

Lil Wayne “I Ain’t Nervous” Cover
I SWEAR TO GOD I AIN’T NERVOUS!
Another Wayne song dropped outta no where…complete fire. I don’t care what anyone says or thinks…Wayne’s the greatest of all time. I Am Not A Human Being 2 in February. I’m pumped. And the autotune on this track? HELL YES. Are we back in 2008 or…? Autotunechi is the best.
My cover is based off my 3rd IANAHB2 cover and my packaging concept.

Lil Wayne “Bitches Love Me” Cover
Unexpectedly…Weezy dropped his new single off I Am Not A Human Being 2! This is complete fire and a hit in the making. As always, I got a cover for you. Check out what’s in the fanny pack….he’s always prepared I guess! I mean if the bitches love him…

Client Work: Jason Cash “Cold Cash” and Medic “Grayscale 2″ Covers
It’s always a pleasure to make someone’s vision become reality. I really try to capture what my clients are looking for and meet all their needs. A cover for an EP, mixtape or album is the first thing people see regarding an artists projects. Often people will see a cover before hearing any music. Cover’s are essential and help shape a project.

Cory Jreamz “Vague Current Vivid Fated” Hardcopy by DieboltDesigns
I designed this front/back cover for my man Cory Jreamz and his new EP a while back. Recently I received the hard copy and I had to share it with the world. Looks great.
I highly recommend checking out VCVF on coryjreamz.com
House Of Balloons/Thursday/Echoes of Silence Covers
Let me just say, I’ve always wanted to do this…but I love the original covers SO MUCH that I’ve not really ever bothered to mess with the greatness(Shoutout to Ben Swantek!). Since ‘Trilogy’ dropped yesterday, I figured I may as well do these. If you haven’t went out and bought ‘Trilogy’ yet…do so this weekend…no pun intended!

Kanye West “White Dress” Cover
So we’ve only heard the snippet of this song, but it sounds like absolute fire. I can’t wait for the full version of this to drop. Hopefully it’s from Yeezy’s next solo project. I had to do a cover for this song because the idea popped into my head last night when I heard this for the first time. What do you guys think about what I did? I used roses in the background because they are a usually known symbol of love.
And have you heard the snippet? If so, leave a comment and let me know what you think!
Kid Cudi “Indicud” Cover
This one was requested over on the KanyeToThe.com forums. I actually put a lot of time into this. I really tried to make a great cover with a bit of meaning behind it rather than just the typical Cudi space theme. There’s a reason Cudi is in the background and only half his face is showing while smoking.

I Am Not A Human Being 2 Packaging Concept (#2)
So the other day I posted my second IANAHB2 cover. It was based on one of the patterns used in Wayne’s “TRUKFIT” brand. I went ahead and did the packaging for this cover and album. Like the cover, the packaging is based on what he wears, embodies, and reps with TRUKFIT. Please note that this packaging is based on the way Jay-Z and Kanye West’s album “Watch The Throne” was packaged.
CLICK EACH IMAGE to view in full size! Leave a comment and let me know what you think! YES it’s crazy…but I bet Wayne would like it.
Lil Wayne “I Am Not A Human Being 2″ Cover (#2)
I just checked out some dope new clothes available soon via TRUKFIT.com and got inspired. Wayne and his brand have been using animal print like crazy lately. Since Wayne picked my cover for Dedication due to the TRUKFIT flavor I used…I figured that using a pattern that TRUKFIT does would be smart.
EDIT(10-5-12) RED VERSION-
Let me know what you guys think about this one!

“Clique” Big Sean/Jay-Z/Kanye West Cover
Any time a song is set to drop featuring Jay-Z and Yeezy…let alone Jay-Z, Yeezy AND Big Sean… you know there will be a lot of hype. I’m definitely hyped so I had to do a cover. This song will be on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album titled “Cruel Summer”.
I stuck with the basic large red font title like other G.O.O.D. Music single covers but went with a different look otherwise. I tried to give it that 50′s mobster movie tone. Check out a short snippet of “Clique” below via TMZ!
Big Sean “Detroit” Cover (Unofficial)
Big Sean very recently announced his new mixtape titled “Detroit”. I’m a fan of most everything Sean has dropped recently so I’m expecting BIG things out of this. And no this is not the official cover. I did email it to Sean’s manager but I didn’t get a response. I got lucky that Karen Civil actually saw my Wayne cover and showed it to him. Thanx again to her and everyone else for the feedback with that project.
Anyways with this cover I tried to represent the city with the Red Wings logo made into an original background and gave it a retro feel with the way I did the writing.
What do you think about this cover? Like it better than my D4 cover?
And oh yeah……..OH GAWD WHOA DERE BOIII.
EXTRA- Black and White version
Lil Wayne “Dedication 4″ Wallpaper
After becoming extremely lucky in the last few days with Weezy choosing my artwork, I decided to finish the body to my TRUKFIT Tune character as seen on the D4 cover. Use this wallpaper if you’re excited for the release of the mixtape next week!

Kendrick Lamar “good kid, m.A.A.d city” Cover
This album is one I am definitely looking forward to. Due out October 2nd, “good kid, m.A.A.d city” looks to be one of the best projects of the year. The singles ‘The Recipe’ and ‘Swimming Pools’ are great. I’ve listen to both quite a bit and love both.
For the cover I decided to try to illustrate where Kendrick came from, Compton, but show he’s beyond that now. It’s still on his mind but he’s looking forward to the luxurious life as he gains popularity. He has his eyes on the prize. He wants to be the best and is connecting with new cultures, and still connected to his past life.

If Rita Ora covered the 1st issue of Diebolt Magazine...
Reblogged from DieboltClothing:
How dope would this be?? This definitely needs to happen in some form one day...I'm talking about the magazine. Rita on issue 1 would be a dream. Diebolt Mag would feature of course Diebolt Clothing, which is still dropping for the Fall/Winter season, art, interviews, music reviews, sports and more. We'll see. Maybe this idea comes to fruition sometime. Ideas are definitely brewing.
Cory Jreamz- “No Castles In The Air” Cover Art & Song
Cory Jreamz is an up and coming rapper and ‘No Castles In The Air’ is his new single. Just came out! Fortunately, I was able to do the official cover for this song. It’s a pleasure to work with a talented young artist like Cory. Look out for more DieboltDesigns-Cory Jreamz artwork collaborations in the near future!! Listen to the song below!!!
Frank Ocean ‘Channel Orange’ Cover #2
Since I posted my first Channel Orange cover I’ve had this idea for another cover. Pretty simple but I think it’s alot better than the official cover. I love the simplicity but it needs to be reworked. Not very well done. I think the cover I did above is simple but you get the idea of what the name of the album is with out it actually having the words ‘Channel Orange’.
