Kanye West “Yeezus” Cover (#1 + Packaging)
I don’t normally post things this simple, nor do I post covers for anything that’s unconfirmed…but I had the idea in wake of the rumored title of Ye’s 6th studio album. Obviously it’s a play on the cross. Nothing but an idea…not claiming this to be anything special but I thought it looked cool so I figured I’d share. Remember…watch Kanye on SNL tonight!
Also, I will post another cover for this album as soon as the name is confirmed!

Kanye West (June Eighteenth Album) Cover
Last week Kanye West tweeted “June Eighteeth” and it is assumed that’s his *currently unnamed*album release date. Kanye will appear on Saturday Night Live later this month and presumably perform new music. Should be an interesting May and June!
Whether this is an album or not that Kanye is alluding to, I decided to do some artwork that can be used as the cover art for this project. I had nothing to go off of as far as sound or title so I just ran with the idea behind some of his style. Kanye has recently been wearing furs, hiking boots and camo; so with this cover I tried recreating a thermal imagery camera. Featured in the cover is a hand drawn original silhouette of Kanye wearing the Margiela diamond mask. Inside the silhouette is the original image of Kanye with said mask.

Kurt Cobain “KURT” Poster
Kurt Cobain rocked. Literally and figuratively. He’s quite the interesting person to look into as I have been as of late. I’ve been a fan of Nirvana for a while but not big enough where I do anything more than just listen to the music. For whatever reason that has changed recently and I began watching various documentaries such as “Kurt And Courtney”….and that inspired me to do a little artwork commemorating the great Kurt Cobain.

Lil Wayne “Love.Live.Life” Poster
As anyone who knows me as a person knows, I’m quite the fan and follower of Lil Wayne. He’s influenced A LOT of my artwork and myself as a person over the years. Unfortunately Wayne hasn’t been doing well over the last couple days. Terrible news that has myself and everyone else scared and upset. All we can do is hope and pray he recovers as soon as possible. As a huge fan of Wayne I can’t imagine losing him as a inspiration and influence. He has his kids and family who he obviously means the world to…and that’s the most important thing. As a fan I can only pray he recovers as soon as possible so he can be with his family. I don’t NEED his music but his kids surely need him as their dad.
Like I said, prayers go out to Weezy and his family. Here’s to a full recovery as soon as possible! Love.

Lil Wayne “Greetings From Mars” Poster
I worked on this all afternoon. Originally I was just messing around with my drawing tablet for some other ideas but I liked the way the simple lines looked….so I figured I’d do a Wayne poster. I hand drew all of this except for the text. It’s abstract and weird but hey…that’s kind of my style…and Wayne’s style as well.
I will say I found some inspiration in UNIF Clothing’s ads and graphics in general for this poster(I’m a big fan of UNIF they have some dope stuff).
Previously I have posted some similar line art with the original The Weeknd “Trilogy” cover I did…however I recreated the line art from one of his concert posters. This time all the line work is original.

PYREX Vision “MJ AS GOD” Poster
PYREX Vision Apparel is an interesting brand. Created by Kanye’s buddy Virgil Abloh, PYREX basically is some bold font and famous paintings printed on some Champion hoodies and Polo Rugby shirts. Although I really don’t like the fact that the items are extremely over priced and over hyped, I still like the BOLD fonts and lettering. I have a similar style with Diebolt Clothing as far as my wordmark and logo go.
Anyways, I made this poster just for fun. Practice. I like playing with fonts.
Justin Bieber “You Want Me” Cover
I’m a little late doing this cover but whatever…it’s JB’s birthday and I was feeling artistic. Biebz put out this song a few weeks ago and I’ve been playing it ever since. Hopefully this sound reflects the direction he’s going with the next album.

Tyler The Creator “Domo 23″ & “Bimmer” Covers
Tyler The Creator released his new single this week titled “Domo 23″ this week along with the music video for the song(watch it below!). At the end of the video he added a snippet for a second new song titled “Bimmer”. Both songs offer a new sound for the Odd Future rapper and personally I enjoy these 2 songs alot more than any of his past offerings. Tyler’s 2nd album “Wolf” is coming soon.
On the “Domo 23″ cover I used a screenshot of Tyler from the music video. The font is positioned like the name and number on a jersey. For “Bimmer” I obviously featured a vintage BMW along with a similar font setup to the Domo 23 cover.

Marina & the Diamonds “E.V.O.L” Cover
Yesterday Marina & The Diamonds released a new song called “E.V.O.L” and it’s been on repeat ever since. Recently I’ve become a fan of Marina…she’s really good and her art direction is awesome. I like who she seems to be. Her music is also very good.
Is love really evil or is it the people for make it evil? Marina made her case on this track. She says “It only takes 2 people to fuck love up and make it evil”. I tried using that quote to make the cover. I show 2 people in the form of devils on the left and right side. They’re reaching for the heart thus creating it into a monster.
